6 Ways A Virtual Assistant Saves You Money

Working with a Virtual Assistant saves you money. It really does.

6 Ways A Virtual Assistant Saves You Money - Sharyn Munro Virtual Assistance

Here are 6 of the ways a Virtual Assistant saves you money. As opposed to hiring onsite staff or doing the tasks yourself.

Rather than hiring on-site staff:

  • You don’t have to pay the extras that come with an employee. Things such as recruitment costs; superannuation; leave loading; WHS costs; overtime payments; and payroll tax are all things you don’t have to worry about when you work with a Virtual Assistant.
  • We only work when we’re needed. So you’re not paying for someone who is on a break; not doing anything at the moment; on annual or sick leave; or to be available when business is slow.
  • Because we work remotely, you don’t have to purchase equipment, additional software licenses, amenities (tea, coffee etc.). Or worry about higher utility bills or renting a larger office space

Rather than doing it yourself

  • You pay our hourly rate to do things, instead of your hourly rate.
  • We do most admin jobs quicker than you. So, as well as being a lesser hourly rate, it’s also a smaller amount due to the time savings.
  • By taking time-consuming tasks off your plate, you’re able to spend more time doing core activities that generate income.

Of course, on top of that there are the more invisible, but arguably more important time-saving of having your admin tasks performed in a timely manner at a high quality.

  • You won’t notice how many errors or omissions you make while entering your receipts in bulk the day before your accountant needs them.
  • Having your documents formatted properly isn’t necessarily obvious until you want to make changes.
  • You never know whether you didn’t win that client because their email wasn’t noticed for an extended period.

You won’t see a benefit in not having your accounts regularly reconciled, or your CRM updated promptly, or a million other little things. But once you start working with up-to-date accounts and CRM, properly formatted documents and organised emails, you’ll wonder how you ever coped before.
