How A Virtual Assistant Can Help Keep You Healthy At Work

You may not think that there’s much a Virtual Assistant could do to help you keep healthy at work, but you’d be wrong.  Most of what we can do revolves around reducing your workload and keeping your stress levels down. However, if you’re a little creative about it there’s a lot more a Virtual Assistant can to do help keep you healthy at work.

Mental Health

A Virtual Assistant can take care of tasks that need to be done but are out of your core skills, such as:

  • Data entry
  • Invoicing
  • Account reconciliation
  • Chasing invoice payments
  • Document formatting
  • Monitoring and maintaining your social media accounts

They can also help with the tasks that you enjoy or need to take control of, but don’t always have time to do it all yourself, such as:

  • Customer service
  • Content creation
  • Business plan development
  • Collating data for analysis such as ROI for marketing, profit & loss for accounts, products or services etc.

Physical Health

This is where you’d need to be more creative. And you may not even be up for sharing this much detail about your life. But, if you’re a sharer some of the things a Virtual Assistant could do to keep you healthy at work would include:

  • Find workouts online that fit your goals, time and the equipment you have available
  • Regularly diarise gym, medical and dental appointments into your schedule
  • Book appointments for a check-up, a massage or similar
  • Find healthy recipes and order groceries on your behalf
  • Check out the menu of restaurants you want to eat at and find the healthier menu options
  • Find a local gym for you to attend, and find nearby gyms whenever you’re travelling
  • Be an accountability partner for your health, exercise and/or diet
  • Source locally grown, eco-friendly produce markets in your local area
  • Help track your progress towards a fitness goal (i.e. running a marathon)
  • Source office equipment that helps keep you (and the environment) healthy, such as ergonomic desks and chairs. As well as research the eco-credentials of printers, computers, other technology and consumables
