How A Virtual Assistant Could Help With Marketing

I was going to write a post about some of the ways a Virtual Assistant could help with marketing. So I had a look through my old posts to see if I could find something that was missing, or something that I wanted to elaborate on.  What I found was a whole heap of articles about online marketing in my How A Virtual Assistant Could Help … series as well as a few posts in my other categories so I thought I’d just organise them a here for you. What was missing was some information on how a Virtual Assistant could help with more traditional marketing, so I’ve also included some ways a Virtual Assistant could help with your more traditional marketing.

Traditional Marketing

All of the above posts focus mainly on marketing online, mostly because that’s how I prefer to do my marketing. However, if your audience isn’t online then online marketing is a waste but you will probably still need help with marketing.  So here are a few ways a Virtual Assistant can help with marketing in a more traditional way:

Suppliers
Your Virtual Assistant can source and liaise with suppliers such as designers, printers, newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations to make sure your message is getting in front of the right audience. They can work with your advertising materials from the start to the finish making sure that timelines are being met, that designs meet your criteria and that you are getting the best price possible.

Collateral
Once you’ve got marketing collateral in stock, your Virtual Assistant can keep track of quantities so you know when to re-order and never run the risk of running out of something important, like business cards, just before a major event. They can also keep track of any brochures or trinkets handed out and see which items get the best results.

Reporting
If you’re going to be spending money on any type of marketing, you need to find a way to track the return you’re getting on the investment. Your Virtual Assistant can help by asking new clients where they heard about you, taking reports from suppliers and drilling down the statistics to see who your ads are appearing for and checking that against your idea client profile.  They can also create reports showing the approximate cost per view of ads in newspapers, magazines as well as on radio and television.

So there you have it! There is an awful lot that a Virtual Assistant can do to help with marketing. If you’d like to have a talk about how a Virtual Assistant could help you, please contact me for an obligation free coffee & chat about your needs.
