If you want to target a section of your newsletter list, it’s really easy to segment a MailChimp list. You can set up a segment on the fly to send to a specific group, but here are instructions to set up a more permanent segment.
Log into MailChimp and go to Audience then Segments
Check the name of the list you want to Segment then click Create Segment
In Create a segment, select the criteria you want. Click Add to select multiple criteria if required
Criteria can include any of these fields and can be ALL (anyone who is in all of these groups) or ANY (anyone who is in any one of the groups)
Once you’ve selected all the criteria you want click Preview Segment
You’ll be shown the list segment and you can Edit Segment if you want to make any changes. If there are no changes, click Save Segment.
Now you can just select the segment in the To section whenever you want to send an email to that specific group
