4 Facebook Business Page Tools You May Not Have Known About

These days, most businesses are on Facebook in some degree, but too often we’re all just trying to keep on top of posting & responding and we don’t pay attention to some of the things available to make our lives easier, or to give our likers a better experience.  Here’s 4 handy tools you may not have known about:

Get help with your Business Page

Facebook makes it really easy to allow multiple people to be able to work with your Facebook Business Page by assigning Admin Roles which allow certain access based on the type of Admin Role assigned.  The table below shows the different roles and what access they have:

 Facebook Admin Roles

To set admin roles either go into “See Likes” and click the “Make Admin” button, or under Edit Page, select Manage Admin Roles.

Display “featured” businesses on your business page

Facebook Likes

A rotating list of 5 businesses you’ve  liked displays on your business page.  When you’ve liked a lot of pages, it may mean that pages you would like your fans to see are rarely displayed.  So, you can choose the pages that are shown on your “Likes” list, you can set them as Featured.  To set it, just go to Settings, click on more then choose Featured.

You can select as many “Featured” business pages as you like and they will rotate on your Business page.  If you click “See all” it displays a list of all pages you’ve liked.

Schedule a post

Schedule a post

To schedule a post, just go to your business page, start to post and a little clock symbol will show up in the bottom left corner of the post.  Add the year, then month, etc all the way down to the minute and click Schedule Post when you’re finished.  You can see what’s been scheduled by choosing “Use Activity Log” from the Edit page dropdown.

See who is connected to your business page

To see who likes you, which pages like yours, who subscribes to your updates, who your admins are, or who is banned  just click on See Likes (circled below) and select from the dropdown.  Just one note: people who have their security settings set to not display their likes don’t show on this page. So someone may have liked your page, but not be appearing here.  You can sometimes catch that (if they’re one of your 5 most recent likers) by clicking on the “friends” icon next to the Facebook logo at the top of the page, but it only works for the 5 most recent, once you click “See All” you only see people with their likes publicly available.
