How I Can Help You Find More Time

While I regularly post about what a Virtual Assistant can do for you, I rarely post specifically about what I can do for you. With that in mind, here are some of the things I can do to help you find more time or just get a bit of the annoying stuff off your desk.

How I Can Help You Find More Time - Sharyn Munro Virtual Assistance

Documents

The documents you send out represent your business, so it’s important to make sure they look good and use correct spelling and grammar.

  1. Create document templates
  2. Create tables and charts from data and insert them into your documents
  3. Format documents
  4. Produce letters, quotations, reports and other similar documents
  5. Proofread documents

Financial

When running a business, it’s important that your financial records are accurate and that invoicing is done regularly and that outstanding accounts are chased promptly. Unfortunately, it can be very time consuming for you to keep on top of things, leading to a rush before visits to your accountant or bookkeeper.

  1. Account reconciliation
  2. Assigning costs to the correct cost centres
  3. Chasing unpaid invoices
  4. Data entry of receipts
  5. Producing invoices promptly and on a regular basis

Marketing

Marketing is necessary for all businesses, but to do it properly it takes a lot of time away from your core business.

  1. Create newsletter templates
  2. Create newsletters
  3. Produce, edit and/or proofread brochures and other marketing collateral
  4. Get pricing and requirements for services such as printing and leaflet delivery
  5. Price services and liaise with marketing departments of content producers such as newspapers, radio, TV etc.
  6. Help set ups and monitor Google AdWords, Facebook advertising and other online advertising services
  7. Track ROI for all marketing investments so you always know what is working best for you

Technology

I love technology and playing with new programs or learning about new hardware, software or methods is something I really enjoy. If you don’t, let me deal with the things you don’t want to be bothered with.

  1. Edit website content
  2. Troubleshoot technical issues
  3. Research new equipment to find what will suit your needs best
  4. Import and export data from databases
  5. Upload templates for invoices, emails, letters etc. into your CRM

Social Media

Having a presence on social media is necessary for nearly all businesses, but it’s very easy for you to find yourself spending far too much time for too little result.

  1. Post blogs (edit content, format post, find images)
  2. Monitor your social media accounts and respond to messages
  3. Monitor hashtags or topics of interest
  4. Troubleshoot any problems you may have with any platform
  5. Schedule posts on multiple platforms

Customer Service

Regardless of what industry you work in, customer service is an important part of how you do business. While I’m sure you want to keep a personal relationship with your clients, there are still many things I can do that will help you provide better service.

  1. Contact clients and update their details in your CRM
  2. Maintain your CRM, make sure it’s updated regularly, tasks are monitored etc.
  3. Make sure that all your client contacts are updated into your CRM
  4. Monitor email accounts and respond to customer queries
  5. Organise to send out cards or gifts at appropriate times

Miscellaneous

On top of that, there are a whole heap of little jobs that take time out of your day

  1. Book travel and accommodation
  2. Create a slideshow
  3. Format spreadsheets
  4. Help organise an event
  5. Manage a membership database
  6. Research (Facts, equipment, people, whatever you need to know)
  7. Schedule appointments

So, if you need help with any of this, or if you’re just feeling overwhelmed and would like to find some ways to reclaim a bit of time, contact me and we can find a time to have an in-depth discussion and find you some more time in each day.
