Using more than one VA

If you are serious about outsourcing to a Virtual Assistant, you might find that the variety of tasks you have to outsource is more than one Virtual Assistant can handle.  Alternatively, you may just need help in a couple of very diverse areas.  The easiest way to deal with this is to hire multiple Virtual Assistants.

Virtual Assistant’s should not care if you hire more than one Virtual Assistant, and in fact should be able to help you with the search for another Virtual Assistant.  We have the contacts and knowledge of your work style that means we can help find someone who is a great fit.

You may want to have one coordinating Virtual Assistant, who is the main point of contact for the others. You may even want to just work with the one Virtual Assistant, and have them subcontract work outside their area of expertise to other Virtual Assistants.  However you want to work, remember that any Virtual Assistants you use will want to help you make your business as successful as possible.

If you are using several Virtual Assistants for different tasks, be very careful to clearly define their fields, or alternatively make sure there is one person coordinating everything.  Otherwise you may end up with several people doing one thing and something else getting missed altogether.

Working with more than one Virtual Assistant should only enhance your business and help you to avoid the day to day administration by handing it off to a professional.  As with any professional relationship though, the expectations should be clearly defined and monitored until you are all used to working together.
